Business Infomation Technology - BIT (BSBUS)
with options in Computer Based Decision Support Systems (DSS), Operations Management (OM), and Electronic Business Technology (EBT)
Students who have more than 30 credits of transferable course work must select a major when applying to the Pamplin College of Business. Students with less than 30 credits of transferable course work may enter as a business undecided (BUS) major, but must declare a major by the time they are a junior, 60 earned credits. Research on former transfer students from community colleges indicates students who transfer as juniors (60 or more hours) do better than students who transfer with fewer than 60 hours.
The following program of study is recommended for students who plan to transfer to the Pamplin College of Business to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in any major. A maximum of 62 semester hours may be transferred.
